Alliance
The
purpose of the Courtesy Committee is to extend the wishes of the Alliance to its
members. Alliance members are encouraged to contact the Courtesy chairperson
when they know of any member who would appreciate our concern for their well
being.
The
following guidelines are suggested:
- A congratulatory card will be sent for the birth of a
child.
-
Thinking-of-You cards will be sent for 80+ and 90+ birthdays of members or
former long-time members, and to those who are shut in.
- In the event of an active board member's death, a memoriam
of $25.00 will be sent to a charity listed in the obituary or to the family of
the deceased.
- Sympathy
cards will be sent to families of deceased members and to members in the event
of the death of a spouse or child.
