place for ourselves, our families, and our community.
Since 1938 GCMS Alliance’s
programs and services have offered something for every physician’s
spouse. As a member, you have a voice in one of the most highly
organized and involved health organizations in the community, the state
of Michigan and in the nation.
YOU
can make a difference! Join us and take an active part in our efforts to
promote health education, prevent family violence, guarantee quality
care for patients, celebrate medical families, and prepare for the
future of medicine. Be an informed member, even if you choose not
to be an active member. The time may not be right for you
to share your talents with the Alliance. However, by paying your
dues, you are saying, "Yes I care!" You will make a
difference!
Take a look at a few of our achievements.. .
Addresses the issue of violence through our SAVE
program (Stop America’s Violence
Everywhere) and
promoted the anti-smoking message through the Extinguisher
project.
Helped raise $400,000 over a 5 year period for
the Genesee County Free Medical Clinic by organizing the
Healing Hands 5K Run/Walk.
Helps the Genesee County Medical Society in its
legislative efforts for quality health care.
Provides high school students an opportunity to
explore health careers through volunteer hospital service in our
community.
