3rd annual golf outing benefiting the homeless "Shelter of Flint"

Facts:
 
1.  The mission of the "Shelter of Flint" is to find solutions for housing challenges caused by poverty and homelessness.
2.  The "Shelter of Flint" is the only local non-sectarian emergency shelter that welcomes all homeless families.
3.  The average age of the homeless is nine years old.
4.  Half of the homeless in Genesee county are children.
5.  the "Shelter of Flint" assists each homeless person with developing a long-range plan toward permanent stability that addresses needs for safe, affordable housing, employment, education and training, health care, counseling and treatment.
 
The 3rd annual golf outing will be at the Coyote Preserve in Fenton, August 16, Saturday, 2008.  100% of the proceeds benefit the "Shelter of Flint" so it is tax deductible.  The cost is $125 which includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, continental breakfast, lunch at the turn, 4 drink tickets and Hors D'oeuvres at the finish.
 
Former Detroit quarter-back Eric Hipple will m-cee the event and Bill Baldwin will host a golf clinic in the morning.
