Room for Hope a great success! Recently the Alliance became part of a great project called Room for Hope, in conjunction with the Women’s Shelter of Flint.  The Alliance “adopted” a room at the shelter, and agreed to give it an “extreme home makeover” in just 2 days, as well as to continue to be responsible for the room’s upkeep for one year.....(Please click on the above link to read the details).

Forty-four new students registered for the Youth Health Careers Volunteer program with Hurley Medical Center on September 17, 2007. Registration occurs in Sept and January of each school year.

Lakshmi Tummala has been elected as President-elect for MSMSA, Kee Kang as South East Regional Director of Michigan State Medical Society Alliance, Mary Lou Mathias appointed Health Promotions, Felicity Thomson Resident Physician Spouse/Medical Student Spouse Chairpersons.  As GCMSA members, we are so proud of our talented and devoted board members.
